But let me be honest here: we never go out the movies, for a myriad of reasons, but that’s neither here nor there.
Plus, this movie has Jesse Eisenberg (Mark Zuckerburg, The Social Network – we just saw that, movie, by the way; see what I mean?) playing the Straight-Man, which is awesome. And most promising of all, is that the guy who directed Eisneberg in his breakout role in the outstanding Zombieland, Ruben Fleischer, directed this 30 Minutes or Less. So if I was a betting man – and I am – I would wager that this will be pretty damn funny and clever. While it may not be enough to get me to leave the house and the couch, and trading in what has now become a much more enjoyable movie-viewing experience, you never know with some good word of mouth. And a real funny comedy can be quite awesome in a full theater. Seeing There’s Something About Mary in a packed house is still one of the most hard-laughing experiences of my life.
